Wolf Mountain Estates is a carefully planned mountain development. Unlike some subdivisions in the area, Wolf Mountain was meticulously designed to preserve the mountain’s natural beauty and secluded privacy while enhancing its existing features, including rolling pastures, creeks and streams, large rock formations, gentle ridges and of course, magnificent views. Wolf Mountain was founded in 1988 by four Cherokee County natives. These men had a deep appreciation for the untarnished natural beauty found in the southern Appalachian Mountains. One of the men, Steve Crowe, owner/broker of Appalachian Land Company in Murphy, has been the primary catalyst in the excavating of the proposed roads and lot development. His intense love for the mountains and his own personal community, as well as his reputable construction and development skills, have been the motivation in making Wolf Mountain Estates a wonderful place to live and an asset to the region.
